I’m going through this right now I got my results two days ago and it came out positive. I been stressed and worried for the past two days . Can’t help but I had cried a lot. Bc it was a twin pregnancy at the beginning and at 11 weeks one stop growing and now finding out this it broke me. I just got a new app for a second test next week. I’m praying for the best but I cant stop worrying

Currently going through something similar. My AFP levels were elevated. My doctor tried to brush over it, but I am deeply concerned. I go for a LEVEL II Ultrasound 12/09… keeping my fingers crossed for my baby girl. Thank you so much for this video <3 UPDATE: 12/12/22 - baby girl’s spine is just fine. . . But there is so much I have to say about my experience with my OB. I think I’ll make a video soon!
i just got the call yesterday for an abnormal AFP test- my ultrasound is on 12/21.... ill say a prayer everything works out in our favor and we have healthy babies

@@jeansilva-vn7je BABY IS HEALTHY! Spine and brain looked as it should. it was a “false positive” which the doctor went on to tell me happens a lot with the AFP test. I asked why the numbers were high and he said they really don’t have a reason but could sometimes mean I might just have a small baby. I go back in 2 weeks for a fetal growth ultrasound to get a estimate on the weight. Thank you for checking in!
